Mack "Doc" Holiday built this outfit in 1989, and it's been turning out proper barbecue ever since — the kind that doesn't need a story, just a pit and the right wood. This Nakoma location sits on East Nakoma in San Antonio, open most days from mid-morning through evening, later on weekends. Walk in, order, eat. No fuss.
