Rudy's brings Texas barbecue and a country store to Chandler, wood-fired and unhurried.
The Chandler Rudy's on West Chandler Boulevard opens at six — barbecue doesn't wait — and runs the chain's oak-fired brisket, ribs and sausage by the pound, with a country store attached. The format goes back to a 1929 Leon Springs filling station that added barbecue in 1989.
