Texican BBQ Company

Texican BBQ Company sits on Old Highway 77 in Olmito and does the work of a proper smoke pit without ceremony. Marc Garza runs the place, and the menu centers on what matters: brisket, substantial ribs, and the less common sight of smoked poblanos alongside the meat.

Open Tuesday through Saturday. The votes for best in Brownsville and best entrée came from people who'd eaten here, not from a marketing department. That's the only endorsement that counts.
