Mack "Doc" Holiday started this outfit in 1989, and it's built on oak smoke and no fuss. The Brownsville location sits on North Expressway 77-83a and runs seven days a week — early mornings into the evening, later on weekends — a place that treats barbecue as something to be done properly, not performed.
Wood-fired, simple, and built to last. That's the whole idea.
