Southside Market & Barbeque — Leander
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
Southside Market & Barbeque brings 1882's recipe — post oak, sausage, and no apologies — to Leander.
The Bracewells bought Southside Market in 2010, but the sausage recipe and post-oak pits go back to 1882. This Leander outpost on Shimmering Lane runs the same low-and-slow: brisket, pork steaks, and the sausage older than Texas statehood. Meat-market counter attached; open daily to eight, nine on weekends.
