The Round Rock Rudy's, at 2400 North IH-35, runs the same oak-fired barbecue and country-store stock as the rest of the chain — brisket, ribs and sausage by the pound over butcher paper. It began as a 1929 Leon Springs filling station that took up barbecue in 1989. Open early, later on weekends; come hungry.
