MISSION BBQ sits on US Highway 441 in Mt Dora, part of a chain two friends started in 2011 around a simple idea: barbecue and gratitude.
This is fast-casual barbecue with a mission baked in — the founders built the brand to honour service members and first responders, and that thread runs through every location. The Mt Dora outpost keeps the same rhythm: order at the counter, take a seat, and let the kitchen handle the rest.
Open seven days, closing a half-hour earlier on Sundays. No reservations, no fuss — just a straightforward plate and a nod to those who serve.
