Two friends passionate about barbecue started MISSION BBQ in 2011; this Mission outpost is one of many.
MISSION BBQ is a fast-casual chain built around the idea that barbecue and patriotism belong on the same plate. The Mission location on Johnson Drive runs the same playbook as the rest: order at the counter, fill a tray, and sit down to pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and sides in a dining room that leans heavily on red, white, and blue.
Open daily — eleven to nine most days, half-eleven to eight on Sundays. It's fast-casual barbecue done at scale, and it doesn't pretend otherwise.
