MISSION BBQ — Kenosha
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
MISSION BBQ opened in 2011 when two friends decided barbecue and patriotism belonged on the same plate.
This Kenosha outpost sits on 75th Street, part of a fast-casual chain built around smoked meat and a salute. The brand runs on a straightforward premise: barbecue served with a side of American flags and a daily playing of the national anthem at noon. No pretense about what it is.
Open seven days — 11 to 9 most nights, closing an hour earlier on Sundays. The menu covers the expected territory: brisket, ribs, pulled pork, the usual lineup. It's counter-service barbecue for people who want it quick and consistent, and it delivers exactly that.
