MISSION BBQ — Fairfax
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
MISSION BBQ is what two friends built in 2011 when they decided fast-casual barbecue could mean something.
This Fairfax outpost sits on Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, serving brisket, ribs, and pulled pork seven days a week. The brand started in 2011, founded by a pair who believed barbecue belonged beyond the pit-stop — accessible, consistent, and done with intent.
Open daily from 11:00, closing at 21:00 most nights and 20:00 on Sundays. A working lunch, a weeknight dinner, or a weekend plate — the hours bend to fit the day.
