MISSION BBQ — Bradenton
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
MISSION BBQ runs a fast-casual operation on 14th Street West in Bradenton, founded by two friends who decided barbecue could move at a quicker pace.
The brand started in 2011, built around the idea that barbecue didn't need to be slow service to be done right. This Bradenton outpost keeps the same approach: order at the counter, food comes out fast, and the doors are open seven days a week.
They close for eight major holidays and knock off early on Labor Day Eve, Thanksgiving Eve, and the second Monday in December. The rest of the year, lunch and dinner run straight through — Sunday they open at half-past eleven instead of eleven.
