The Brisket Shoppe
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
The Brisket Shoppe smokes Akaushi Wagyu brisket over Florida oak and runs out most days — which is the only review that matters.
Danny Hernandez opened this place in 2021 with a clear idea: brisket done right, plus a few things that shouldn't work but do. Guava-glazed pork belly. Brisket pastries. Huli chicken. Cheshire pork ribs. Herb-smoked turkey breast. Handcrafted sausage. All of it smoked over Florida oak, all of it built to a standard that got the attention of the Michelin Guide, Yelp's Top 100, and the Tampa Bay Times.
Open Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. until sold out. Cash or card. No pretense, no waste. Just the work.
