Barque Smokehouse
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
Barque Smokehouse is where Southern Ontario barbecue began, in 2011, on Roncesvalles Avenue.
David Neinstein built this place on competition-style smoking and the kind of craft that doesn't need to announce itself. It's been the home of the operation since the start — the place where the whole thing was figured out.
They're open most days from half eleven, later on weekends. If you're in Toronto and want to know what this barbecue is about, this is where you come.
