Terry Black's BBQ
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
Terry Black's barbecue, named after the family patriarch, arrives in Dallas on Main Street with the old-school pit smoking that earned the brand a place in Texas Monthly's Top 50.
Mike Black and his brother built this operation on Central Texas barbecue done the way it's meant to be — low and slow over smoke, no shortcuts. The Dallas location opened in 2019 and runs daily from mid-morning through late evening, a straightforward setup for people who know what they came for.
Order at the counter, find a seat, and eat barbecue that doesn't need to explain itself. This is what the Blacks do.
