Terry Black's Barbecue — Dallas
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
Terry Black's barbecue, named after the family patriarch, arrives in Dallas on Main Street with the old-school pit smoking that earned the brand a place in Texas Monthly's Top 50.
Terry Black's Dallas, open since 2019, is one of the Black family's outposts — twin brothers Michael and Mark Black carrying the Lockhart barbecue name their father Terry gave it. Central Texas brisket and ribs over smoke, the way the family has done it for four generations. Open daily, mid-morning to late.
