Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q opened in Midland in September 2025, bringing oak-fired barbecue to Loop 250.
Mack "Doc" Holiday's barbecue operation, established in 1989, now has a foothold on Midland's east side. Wood-fired oak and a straightforward approach to the craft — the kind of thing that doesn't need explaining. Open early, open late, six days a week into the evening and Fridays and Saturdays past nine.
This is a working barbecue restaurant, not a destination built on hype. Find it on the Loop 250 Frontage Road and order accordingly.
