Two friends passionate about barbecue started MISSION BBQ in 2011; this Waldorf outpost on Festival Way is one of many.
MISSION BBQ runs as fast casual — order at the counter, carry your tray, open daily. The menu covers the usual territory: brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chicken. It's a chain, and it doesn't pretend otherwise.
The Waldorf location keeps the same hours as the rest: eleven to nine most days, closing an hour earlier on Sunday. If you're near Festival Way and want barbecue without waiting, it's there.
