Two friends passionate about barbecue started MISSION BBQ in 2011; this Riverside outpost on Mission Inn Avenue is part of what they built.
Fast casual barbecue with a patriotic thread running through it — MISSION BBQ opened its first location in 2011 and has since spread the model across the country. The Riverside branch sits on Mission Inn Avenue, serving the same menu that made the brand: brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and sides, plated quickly and without ceremony.
Open daily — eleven to nine most days, half-past eleven to eight on Sundays. Walk in, order at the counter, and carry your tray to a table. It's barbecue at the pace of lunch, built by two friends who decided speed and smoke could coexist.
