Two friends started MISSION BBQ in 2011 with a passion for barbecue; this Murfreesboro outpost carries that forward on Medical Center Parkway.
Fast casual barbecue done at the pace people actually eat lunch. Open daily — eleven to nine most days, closing a bit earlier on Sundays — and the menu moves.
The brand began in 2011, built by two friends who cared about barbecue enough to open a restaurant around it. This location sits just off Medical Center Parkway, and it does what the rest do: serve barbecue without ceremony, at a counter, to people who showed up hungry.
