MISSION BBQ — Merrifield
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
MISSION BBQ opened in 2011 when two friends decided barbecue and patriotism belonged on the same plate.
This Merrifield outpost sits on Mission Park Drive, serving the fast-casual barbecue the brand built its name on — smoked meats, sides, and a dining room that doesn't hide what it stands for. Open seven days, 11 to 9 most nights, half an hour later on Sundays.
The menu runs the usual suspects: brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chicken. It's counter service — order, pay, find a seat. No fuss, no wait staff. The food comes out quick, the way fast-casual is supposed to work when it's done properly.
