MISSION BBQ — Fayetteville
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
MISSION BBQ runs a fast-casual operation on Skibo Road in Fayetteville, serving barbecue daily with a patriotic bent.
Two friends started MISSION BBQ in 2011, building a chain around barbecue and a salute to service members. This Fayetteville outpost keeps the same playbook: counter service, a straightforward menu, and doors open seven days a week.
The brand leans into its theme — flags, tributes, a daily playing of the national anthem at noon — and the food follows a fast-casual rhythm. Order at the counter, collect your tray, and move on. It's barbecue at scale, delivered with consistency and a clear point of view.
Open 11 to 9 most days, half an hour later on Sundays. Find it on Skibo Road, just off the interstate.
