Hickory's Smokehouse brings Texas-style barbecue to Shavington, just outside Crewe, in a dog-friendly spot on Crewe Road.
This outpost of the Hickory's chain — founded in 2010 — runs Texas barbecue from a Cheshire roadside. The kitchen opens at noon most days, stretching to 23:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, with weekend service starting at 10:00. Summer hours shift earlier; bank holidays follow the weekend pattern.
Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating. The rest is straightforward: smoke, meat, and a dining room that doesn't pretend to be anything else.
