Saturday and Sunday, 1 p.m. until it's gone: USDA Prime brisket, pulled pork, ribs, jalapeño boudin links, beef cheek barbacoa, Dr Pepper oxtails, pork belly burnt ends. The menu moves fast. Weekend-only service at the ranch means no walk-ins on a whim. Cash, card (with a 3% fee), Zelle, or cheque accepted. Private catering available — direct message for details. Roegels Barbecue Co.

This is the second outpost of the barbecue joint the Roegels started in 2014 — the one that landed at number 15 on Texas Monthly's Top 50 in 2017 and earned an honorable mention in 2022. The same Texas barbecue that made the original a destination now runs out of this Katy address, where the pit turns out what the Roegels have built their name on. Open Tuesday through Sunday, closed Mondays. When you're this far out the Katy Freeway, it's the place to stop.
