The Shed BBQ & Blues Joint

The Shed is a Mississippi institution dressed up as a junkyard — a cobbled-together shack on Highway 57 in Ocean Springs where wood smoke, live blues and Gulf-coast hospitality all run together. The pits turn out the full southern spread — brisket, ribs, pulled pork and chicken — seven days a week, and if you can't get down there they'll ship it to your door via Goldbelly. What makes it genuinely unusual is that you don't have to leave: The Shed pairs up with the neighbouring Cozy Rosy Glampground, so you can roll in for a rack of ribs and a blues set and simply stay the night — a glamping cabin, an RV site or a tent, with a community garden, a waterfront for fishing and boating, and a wedding gazebo on hand. There's real competition pedigree behind the swagger, too — Memphis in May, the American Royal, the World Food Championships — but the pull is simpler than any trophy: eat well, hear some blues, and wake up right where you ate.
