Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q brings Texas barbecue and a working country store to Webster, on the Gulf Freeway south of Houston.
Buy a brisket sandwich and a pair of boots in the same visit — that's the Rudy's idea, and the Webster location off I-45 near NASA runs it: oak smoke, a country store, barbecue by the pound. The chain started as a 1929 Leon Springs filling station and took up barbecue in 1989.
