Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q has been smoking oak since 1989, and this Denton outpost carries that same straightforward approach.
The Denton Rudy's on South IH-35E fires the oak from seven, seven days a week — brisket and sausage by the pound, a country store alongside. The chain began as Rudolph Aue's 1929 Leon Springs filling station and added barbecue in 1989.
