MISSION BBQ brings fast-casual barbecue to Santa Barbara's Mission Historical Park neighbourhood, open seven days a week.
Two friends passionate about barbecue founded MISSION BBQ in 2011, and the chain has since grown to locations across the country. This Santa Barbara outpost sits on East Los Olivos Street, a short walk from the historic mission district that gives the area its name.
The format is fast-casual — order at the counter, take a seat. Doors open at eleven most days, half-past on Sundays, and stay that way through the evening. No reservations, no fuss. Just barbecue in a neighbourhood better known for its adobe walls than its smoke pits.
