Two friends passionate about barbecue started MISSION BBQ in 2011; this Peoria outpost on North Sterling Avenue carries that flag forward.
MISSION BBQ runs fast-casual: order at the counter, carry your tray, and the kitchen keeps pace. The menu covers the usual ground — brisket, ribs, pulled pork — without ceremony. It's open daily, closing a half-hour earlier on Sundays.
This is barbecue built for volume and consistency, not quirk. If you want a plate without waiting on a pit's schedule, the door's at 4513 North Sterling.
