MISSION BBQ — Doral
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
MISSION BBQ has been serving fast-casual barbecue since 2011, when two friends decided the country needed more smoke and fewer shortcuts.
This Doral outpost sits on NW 41st Street, part of a chain built by people who take barbecue seriously enough to open locations across the country. The menu runs the expected line: brisket, ribs, pulled pork, the things a fast-casual pit ought to do properly.
Open daily — eleven to nine most days, half-past eleven on Sundays — and the doors close at nine sharp during the week, eight on Sunday evening. No lingering; just barbecue done the way two friends thought it should be, now available a few miles west of the airport.
