Two friends passionate about barbecue started MISSION BBQ in 2011; this Davie outpost on South University Drive is one of many.
MISSION BBQ runs as fast casual — order at the counter, carry your tray, open seven days. The menu covers the usual territory: brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chicken. It's a chain operation, and it doesn't pretend otherwise.
The Davie location sits on South University Drive, open 11 to 9 most days, half an hour shorter on Sundays. If you want barbecue without waiting on a pit crew's schedule, it's there.
