MISSION BBQ — Annapolis
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
MISSION BBQ sits on Somerville Road in Annapolis, where fast-casual barbecue meets a daily salute to service.
Two friends started MISSION BBQ in 2011 with a straightforward idea: serve barbecue and honour those who serve the country. This Town Center outpost carries that mission—open seven days, lunch through dinner, with a menu built around smoked meats and a dining room that pauses at noon each day for the national anthem.
It's fast-casual done with intention. Order at the counter, take a seat, and the food arrives without ceremony. The focus stays on the plate and the people it's meant to feed—veterans, first responders, and anyone hungry for barbecue that doesn't overthink itself.
