Midwood Smokehouse started in Charlotte's Plaza Midwood in 2011, Frank Scibelli's bet that the Carolinas wanted serious Texas-style barbecue — brisket, chopped pork and ribs over hickory. This Cross Hill Market location in Columbia runs it seven days a week, a little later on Friday and Saturday.
