El DobleD BBQ
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
Don Diego makes Texas-style barbecue in Querétaro that sells out before closing time, and people queue for it anyway.
El DobleD BBQ operates Thursday through Sunday, 1 p.m. until the meat runs out—which it does. Diego Castro moved from food trailers into a fixed kitchen on Paseo de la Reforma, where he cooks brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and sausage low and slow. The brisket is what locals talk about. Sides, house sauces, and sampler trays round out the order.
No website, no branches, no pretense. Cash the register, take a seat outside, and eat meat that falls apart. Follow their Instagram for current hours and what's still available—the place moves at the speed of smoke and demand, whichever comes first.
