Johan Fritzell and Johan Åkerberg opened Holy Smoke in 2014 as Sweden's first authentic Texas-style barbecue, out in the coastal village of Nyhamnsläge — and it draws so hard it runs seasonally, roughly Easter to mid-August, feeding as many as 1,500 people a day at its peak. No reservations; first smoked, first served. A pilgrimage smokehouse in an unlikely place.
