MISSION BBQ — Troy
The Atlas Review
The BBQ Atlas
MISSION BBQ arrived in Troy in 2018, bringing the barbecue two friends started in 2011 to Big Beaver Road.
The chain runs on a straightforward premise: barbecue served daily, eleven to nine most days, half-past eleven on Sundays. This outpost sits at 890 East Big Beaver Road, part of a multi-state operation that began when two friends decided barbecue was worth building a business around.
No frills here — just the food and the hours. They open for lunch and stay through dinner, closing at nine six days a week and eight on Sundays. It's barbecue done at scale, consistent across locations, and Troy's version keeps the same rhythm as the rest.
