MISSION BBQ started in 2011 when two friends decided American barbecue and American service members belonged under the same roof.
This Salem outpost carries the brand's fast-casual model: brisket, ribs, pulled pork and turkey served with a side of patriotic sincerity. The menu runs wide, the pace is quick, and the intent is clear.
Open daily on 23rd Street SE — eleven to nine most days, half-eleven to eight on Sundays. Walk in, order at the counter, and take a seat.
