MISSION BBQ brings fast-casual barbecue to North Battlefield Boulevard in Chesapeake, founded by two friends who decided smoke and service could move at the same pace.
The brand started in 2011 with a straightforward idea: barbecue doesn't need to be slow if the fundamentals are sound. This Chesapeake outpost runs the same playbook—counter service, daily hours, and a menu built around the staples.
Open seven days, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. most nights, half an hour later on Sundays. The kind of place that fits lunch breaks and weeknight dinners without ceremony.
