Beard Brothers BBQ
Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Petaling Jaya's Tropicana Avenue is where Chef Nazri Jameson planted his flag more than a decade ago, cooking Texas barbecue the proper way: low and slow over wood fire. No gas, no shortcuts — just smoke, time, and the kind of patience that built a following. Beard Brothers was among the first to do American-style barbecue seriously in Malaysia, and it's still doing it the same way: wood, fire, and meat that's earned its wait.
The kitchen runs Texas method, which means brisket is the measure of the house and everything else follows. Open daily from noon, with Friday service starting at six. The line moves when it moves.
